These animal motifs were used in Irish currency from 1928-1969, to symbolise Ireland’s agricultural economy, with the harp on the back of the coin being the national symbol. Sterling silver, genuine Irish coins, 18mm x 18mm, cufflink backs 17mm x 17mm.
