"Song of the Sea"
A solitary blue whale majestically and determinedly makes its way to the light.
The Blue Whale, Balaenoptera musculus, is the largest animal ever to grace our planet. They live up to 80 - 90 years old, their diet consisting almost exclusively of tiny shimp-like krill. These slow and graceful swimmers are often solitary, yet they use their haunting songs to communicate with each other, sometimes as far as 1000 miles away. No matter how far apart they are from each other, no matter how vast the distance, they are only ever a whale song away from each other.
Makes a great addition to any whale lover's or coastal lover's home. Also makes a great gift for a loved one far away across the miles, to remind each other you are only ever a whale song apart from each other.
